Gary grew up in Michigan and came to know the Lord as a high school student following both a religious and an atheistic background.  Following Christ’s call into full-time ministry while he was a student at the University of Michigan, Gary transferred to Moody Bible Institute where he earned a BA in Pastoral Ministry with a youth ministry emphasis.  After serving in pastoral student ministry for over two decades and adding a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership from Moody Theological Seminary, the Lord brought Gary and his wife Sara to Bethany Road Bible Church in August of 2013.  Gary has a deep love for God’s Word and His people and longs to see people grow into maturity in Christ.  Gary and Sara have 4 adult children and have been serving the Lord together in ministry since 1994.
