Good Friday and Easter Sunday represent the most central and important part of our faith in Christ. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. On Good Friday and Easter Sunday, we will remember, reflect, proclaim, and sing of the Lord Jesus crucified and risen again, according to the Scriptures. In these amazing works of Christ we find the very means by which we sinners have been loved and reconciled to our holy and righteous God as well as the great cause of our Salvation and eternal hope.
